For site managers

Confirm a plot is ready with one tap. No app, no login.

When a test is booked on your site, you get a secure link by email (and by text, where it's set up). It shows the plot, the test, the tester's arrival window and live status, and asks one question the day before: is the plot ready?

Before you say yes

What "ready" usually means

The checklist on the link comes from the job, and the tester or job owner can change it. For an air test it typically covers the items on the right. The tester's checklist and the test method have the final say, so if in doubt, choose "not sure" or ask them.

Typical air test readiness checklist

  • Windows and external doors installed and able to close
  • Seals and airtightness details complete
  • Water traps filled
  • Service penetrations sealed
  • Temporary openings dealt with
  • Ventilation installed as the tester has asked
  • Plot accessible, power available, plot clearly identified

Why a straight answer matters

A wasted visit costs the tester half a day and your programme a slot. A retest costs another booking and another journey. About 15% of air tests lodged each week were retests after a fail, in an analysis of six years of ATTMA lodgements to 2021 (TightVent).

Questions from site teams

Frequently asked

Do I need to download an app or create an account?

No. The link works in any phone browser. If you'd like a login to see all your sites in one place, your company can invite you.

What if I answered "yes" and the plot turns out not to be ready?

The tester records what they found. Your company may be charged the cancellation fee agreed for the job, and the visit is rebooked. That's why "not sure" is always an option.

Can I see the test result?

You see the status, such as complete or retest needed. Results and certificates are shown on the link where the job owner has chosen to share them.

Can I see where the tester is?

Only while they're on their way to your site, and only if they've chosen to share their location. Sharing stops when they arrive.
